What is a “Set Aside”

A DMV set aside order is the equivalent of a dismissal of the action.  The order means the DMV will not suspend or revoke your license and you are eligible for reinstatement of your driving privileges.  When you get this letter it means the hear officer agreed with the attorney’s arguments and drops the suspension.
